Less2sell Online Estate Agents was launched on 16th January 2007 after a year of preparation and research into determining what people want when it comes to home buying or selling via online estate agents.

It was born out of frustration when we purchased our current home in 2005. The house we were selling was put on the market by a leading UK estate agent on a Thursday and we had accepted an offer by Saturday.

When the sale completed we ended up paying the estate agent over £3,500 in commission and for what! They did not show any prospective buyers around, they did not advertise the property nor did they print any property details. We did not think that this was fair and started to think about how we could provide a quality estate agent service in a flexible format. Less2sell Online Estate Agents was born.

Taking our real life example above, if our famous high street estate agent had charged me based on the time directly involved in selling my home then I would have received a big discount.
